Shared Device Telemetry Setup
In support of the EU Data act, Poly has empowered the Tenant/Device admin with the ability to register a 2nd server to receive device telemetry.
Sever Setup
- 
Go to Manage > Inventory in Poly Lens cloud. 
- 
Select a device from the Device List. 
- 
Select Settings > Servers on the side tab. Note: The Settings option is only available if Device Provisioning is enabled. See Enable Device Provisioning on an Account. 
- 
Select Device Telemetry and navigate Secondary Telemetry and toggle ON to Enable Device Telemetry. - 
Input the IP address or FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name), including the Port ID if required (Syntax – IP:Port). 
 Examples:- 192.168.1.23:443

- random.server.customer.com:443
 
- 192.168.1.23:443

Select Apply. 
 Note: If an error occurs from the changes made, an error message will be displayed above. Once the error(s) have been cleared, select Apply again.
Assumptions:
- The secondary server is a local web server on the corporate network
- Sized based on the number of devices sending telemetry
- No Proxy support
- Connection will use TLS tunnel (HTTPS)
- Port 443 is assumed if not specified
- Server changes will take effect overnight or immediately following a device reboot
